Founders Series Classic Topaque

The Founder series celebrates the story of Baileys, as our founder, Richard Bailey, brought his family to Australia in the 1850s. The family moved to North Eastern Victoria in the 1860s and Varley Bailey, Richard’s son, made the first Baileys wine in 1870. True to the region, Baileys of Glenrowan is recognised as a world-class producer of luscious fortified wines.

Winemaker Notes

This Topaque has intense toffee, malt extract and butterscotch aromas. The palate isrich and luscious, and shows delightful complexity and concentration achieved from againg in old oat vats and barrels. Wonderful with rich desserts, blue cheese or simply enjoyed with coffee and chocolate.
